As a Financial Planner, you will be responsible for developing and deepening client relationships by providing high-quality advice and service within the mass affluent market. Your primary focus will be on providing investment and financial planning advice to help clients meet their unique goals.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive financial planning reviews for assigned clients, including retirement planning, wealth accumulation, and estate planning.
- Exhibit a natural curiosity to uncover and solve for clients' needs, delivering trusted financial advice on investments and retirement planning.
- Demonstrate self-motivation and a goal-oriented mindset when identifying clients' needs to craft personalized financial strategies and solutions.
- Foster strong engagement, educate clients, offer insights, and deliver expert advice.
- Exercise a collaborative approach when dealing with peers, clients, and partners.
- Build relationships, focus on providing a great client experience, and grow long-standing relationships with existing clients.
- Experience in financial planning and investment sales is preferred.
- Successfully completed (or working towards) the Personal Financial Planning (PFP) designation (or IQPF designation within Quebec), and/or the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
- You're an accredited mutual funds professional in good standing with CIRO licensing requirements (Investments Funds in Canada or Canadian Securities Course).
- You're able to work independently as a self-motivated entrepreneur with minimal supervision.
