Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and execution.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is presented to the highest standard.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are adequately staffed and supported to meet customer demands.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, and with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
