Position Summary:
The Security Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the performance and activities of Security Officers across various locations. This position requires a strong representative of both Paladin Security and the assigned facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer guidance, leadership, and continuous training to security personnel.
- Ensure compliance with established protocols and daily operational tasks for each shift.
- Monitor adherence to all security policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage shift schedules effectively.
- Confirm that all Security Officers complete mandatory training requirements.
- Encourage staff performance and recognize achievements.
- Implement disciplinary actions when necessary, ensuring proper documentation is submitted.
- Manage attendance and punctuality of team members.
- Conduct security audits to maintain high standards.
- Document and investigate security-related incidents and concerns.
- Execute proactive and reactive security patrols.
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the Client Service Manager.
- Minimum of two years of security experience in a healthcare setting preferred; experience in mental health is advantageous.
- Post-secondary education in law enforcement or security from an accredited institution is beneficial.
- Familiarity with the Trespass to Property Act and Mental Health Act.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven reliability, tact, and diplomacy in professional interactions.
- At least one year of supervisory or team lead experience is preferred.
- Possession of a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Proof of double Covid Vaccination.
- Immunization records for measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests.
- Current First Aid and CPR Level C Certification.
- Ability to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB). Candidates without these certifications may enroll in Paladin's training program prior to onboarding, with costs covered by Paladin upon a six-month commitment to the position.

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
Certification Requirements:
COVID Double Vaccinated, proof of immunizations for TB, MMR, Varicella, Standard First Aid, CPR Level C, and a valid Ontario Security License.
