Job Title: Security Guard

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team at Alternate Healthcare in Hamilton. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents, while maintaining a high level of customer service and ensuring the safety and security of our staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular security patrols of the premises, identifying and mitigating potential security risks.
  • Respond to incidents and emergencies in a timely and professional manner, providing support and assistance as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to staff and visitors, resolving issues and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of all shift activity and incidents, including reports and investigations.
  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment for all.
Requirements:
  • A valid Ontario Security Guard License.
  • Proficient in English (both oral and written).
  • Degree in Police Foundations, Protection Security and Investigations, Criminology, or Border Services (an asset).
  • Proof of double Covid Vaccination.
  • Immunization Record (measles, mumps, rubella, varicella, and TB skin tests 1 and 2).
  • Valid First Aid and CPR Level C Certification.
  • Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
