1110 Kyndryl Canada Limited is in search of a seasoned Cloud Consultant with advanced expertise in Azure, AWS, or GCP. The successful candidate will assist clients in formulating their cloud transition strategies, technological frameworks, and operational model roadmaps. This position encompasses providing consulting in FinOps, ESG, Automation, and DevSecOps, acting as a reliable advisor during pre-sales and consulting initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Strategy Development: Collaborate with clients to create detailed cloud transition strategies and technology roadmaps.
  • Establish target operational models that align with business goals and technological needs.
  • Technology Advisory: Deliver expert advice on on-prem VMWare and cloud solutions, including Azure, GCP, and AWS, ensuring peak performance, scalability, and security.
  • Recommend best practices for cloud architecture, design, and deployment.
  • Financial Operations Consulting: Provide insights and strategies for efficient cloud financial management, assisting clients in optimizing their cloud expenditures.
  • Implement FinOps best practices to oversee, manage, and predict cloud costs.
  • Security in DevOps Consulting: Guide clients on incorporating security measures into the DevOps workflow to ensure secure and compliant cloud operations.
  • Offer recommendations for tools, processes, and methodologies that enhance security and operational efficiency.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, comprehending their business challenges and technical requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, delivering strategic insights and recommendations for client success.
  • Pre-sales Engagement: Support the sales team in pre-sales efforts, defining project scopes, preparing proposals, and conducting solution demonstrations.
  • Engage with prospective clients to understand their needs and customize solutions accordingly.
  • Consulting Engagement Execution: Lead and execute consulting projects, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
  • Provide post-implementation support to ensure the ongoing success of delivered solutions.

Who You Are:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is advantageous.
  • Experience: Significant experience in cloud consulting with a focus on Azure or AWS. Proven history in crafting cloud transition strategies and technology roadmaps.
  • Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert required, or GCP Professional. VMWare Certified Professional. FinOps certification is a notable advantage.
  • Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Azure, GCP, and/or AWS services and best practices. Strong VMWare expertise to assist clients in VMWare environment transformation and optimization. Profound understanding of FinOps and cloud cost management principles. Expertise in DevSecOps methodologies and tools. Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities. Capability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Additional certifications in cloud technologies. Experience with alternative cloud platforms is beneficial. Background in IT service management or consulting.
