Job Title: Strong Start Facilitator

Join the Nisga'a School District No. 92 team as a Strong Start Facilitator, working in schools throughout the Nass Valley. This part-time, 5 hours a day, term position starts in September 2023 and requires a reliable vehicle.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified individual to create, plan, implement, and budget for a parent participation early learning program. The successful candidate will have a certificate in Early Childhood Education, a valid Child Safe First Aid Certificate, and experience in creating and managing early learning programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a parent participation early learning program
  • Collaborate with school staff and community members to promote early learning
  • Provide support and resources to parents and caregivers
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to ensure program effectiveness
  • Manage program budgets and resources
Requirements
  • Certificate in Early Childhood Education
  • Valid Child Safe First Aid Certificate
  • Experience in creating and managing early learning programs
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good organizational and planning skills
