Job Title: Strong Start Facilitator

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Strong Start Facilitator to join our team at Nisga'a School District No. 92. As a Strong Start Facilitator, you will be responsible for creating, planning, implementing, and budgeting for a parent participation early learning program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a high-quality early learning program that meets the needs of children and families
  • Collaborate with community partners to provide resources and support for families
  • Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on early childhood education and child development
  • Conduct home visits and provide support to families in their homes
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Certificate in Early Childhood Education
  • Valid Child Safe First Aid Certificate
  • Experience creating, planning, implementing, and budgeting for a parent participation early learning program
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Understanding of, and commitment to, quality early learning
  • Knowledge of child development, family dynamics, community resources, and early learning
