Strong Start Facilitator Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Strong Start Facilitator to join our team at School District No. 92 (Nisga'a). As a Strong Start Facilitator, you will work in schools throughout the Nass Valley, providing support to children and families in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement programs to support early childhood development
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and community members to promote child well-being
  • Provide guidance and support to families on child development and parenting strategies
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to early childhood education

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g. early childhood education, child development)
  • Experience working with children and families in a community setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
