Patient Care Coordinator – pt Health

Employment Type: Permanent Part Time

The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining a robust connection between the clinic and its clientele, which includes patients, staff, funding bodies, and referral agents. This is accomplished by delivering effective administrative assistance and orchestrating clinic operations with a warm, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor towards all patients, team members, and external stakeholders.

The Patient Care Coordinator oversees all facets of patient onboarding, data management, responding to inquiries, making outbound calls, handling incoming faxes and emails, as well as managing invoicing and payment processes.

Key Responsibilities

Respond to telephone inquiries, welcome patients and visitors upon arrival, and deliver exceptional customer service for all inquiries or issues Facilitate a thorough and precise intake of information during the patient's initial visit to the clinic and throughout their treatment journey Aid patients in completing necessary documentation at the clinic to prevent errors and ensure accurate information Manage the scheduling of patient appointments and maintain the patient's medical records Collect payments at the time of service Monitor coverage for all funding sources to guarantee approval Execute data entry and billing tasks Coordinate courier services (incoming and outgoing) and handle incoming and outgoing emails, mail, and faxes Provide administrative support to the Care Coordinator Manager and Clinic Director

Qualifications & Core Competencies

High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent Strong customer service skills and telephone communication etiquette High level of organizational abilities and capacity to prioritize and manage multiple tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with interpersonal abilities Proficient computer and data entry skills Adaptable and flexible in response to change Experience in a Physiotherapy setting is an advantage
