{"About the Company": "Our client is a leading diagnostics laboratory seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to provide business partnership support to specific business lines within the company, as delegated by the finance department manager.

This is a remote opportunity with a close-knit Finance team where each Senior Analyst leads their own portfolio. Room for growth, leading projects, exposure to different levels of leadership/operational leads, and a strong focus on internal recognition.


About the Opportunity


Monthly Business Unit Performance Reviews


* Work in conjunction with Clients Services, Lab Operations, or the Medical Science/QRA segments of the business, as delegated by the finance department manager, to establish a working partnership and framework to analyze and communicate results of the delegated business units on a monthly basis.

* Develop a framework that includes traditional variance analysis and performance monitoring, visual dashboards to measure in-process metrics, and progress/tracking on the achievement of any segment-specific initiatives.

Budget, Forecast Updates, and Plan Development


* Lead the processes specific to the delegated segment of either Clients Services, Lab Operations, or the Medical Science/QRA segments of the business to develop the annual budget, corresponding "year-to-go" forecast updates (at least 3X per year), and the annual 5-year financial plan for the company.

* Ensure alignment of plans across all delegated stakeholder groups.

Analytics and Business Partnerships


* Develop analytical frameworks and tools to assist the delegated segment of either Clients Services, Lab Operations, or the Medical Science/QRA segments of the business in making data-driven decisions, including pricing activities, new business ventures, new product lines, margin analysis, low-volume/margin test rationalization, product divestitures, capital investments, RFP activities for vendors, contract negotiations, and more broadly any other innovations, strategic initiatives, and ad-hoc analysis as required to enable business decisions.

* Leverage tools to enable business case development and documentation, inclusive of both capital requirements and investment returns/payback.

* Ability to perform ad-hoc projects in support of the finance department manager.

About You


* Accounting designation, CPA, and/or MBA (or working towards one of these designations).

* 5 years of FP&A experience.

* Related industry experience (ie. Complex/Regulated industry).

* Strong business partnering experience.

Salary Range


* $90,000 - $99,000/year
