Instructional Design Specialist

Pet Valu is seeking a talented and passionate Learning Experience Designer to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in developing engaging and effective training programs that empower our associates and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop interactive blended learning programs aligned with Pet Valu's training needs, utilizing various authoring tools.
  • Collaborate with learning managers to identify and analyze training requirements that support business objectives and operational excellence.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure course specifications are met and learning experiences are both engaging and informative.
  • Maintain a commitment to accessibility compliance and consistency across all developed training materials.
  • Contribute to the creation of innovative blended learning experiences that leverage diverse instructional methods and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of proven experience in instructional design and eLearning development within a corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in course development software such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
  • A strong understanding of adult learning principles and best practices.
  • CTDP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
