Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and waxing floors and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Balance rent roll and contact contractors for repairs and maintenance
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances and equipment
  • Supervise other workers and ensure a safe working environment
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Perform other routine maintenance jobs, such as painting and drywall repair
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle repetitive tasks
  • Physically demanding role requiring handling of heavy loads and bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling
  • Dependability, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, and reliability
Work Environment:

Our building is located in an urban area and is a commercial building with a shopping centre or mall. The work environment is all-weather conditions, and you will be required to work with minimal supervision.
