Maintenance Worker Job Description

AER Event Rentals Inc is seeking a skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform minor repairs on appliances and ensure that all equipment is in good working condition.
  • Health and Safety: Perform safety and security checks, and ensure that all safety protocols are followed.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
