About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Worker to join our team at BEST - For A Cleaner World. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning of hallways, floors, and stairs.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers.
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
  • Work with minimal supervision and take initiative to complete tasks.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a maintenance or janitorial role.
  • Dependability, excellent written communication, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
