Maintenance Worker Job Description

AER Event Rentals Inc is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs, and operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse.
  • Waste Management: Empty trash cans and other waste containers, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.
  • Repairs and Maintenance: Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and perform minor repairs on appliances.
  • Safety and Security: Perform safety and security checks, and move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies.
  • Other Duties: Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair.

Requirements:

  • Will train
