We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our Audit team in KPMG-Canada. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality audit services to our clients, ensuring their financial statements are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements, including risk assessment, audit testing, and reporting.
- Review and analyze financial statements, identifying areas of risk and recommending improvements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their needs are met.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the delivery of high-quality audit services, meeting deadlines and exceeding client expectations.
- Accounting diploma or degree.
- Enrolled in the CPA program.
- Minimum of 1 year of auditing experience with a public accounting firm.
- Proficient knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in audit software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
