Staff Accountant, Audit

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join our Audit team in KPMG Canada. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in providing high-quality audit services to our clients, ensuring their financial statements are accurate and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the planning and execution of audits, including reviewing financial statements and related notes.
- Test internal controls and perform financial and other systems analysis.
- Perform general accounting tasks to finalize audit files.
- Establish and maintain relationships with clients.
- Accounting/business diploma.
- Enrolled in the CPA program.
- Minimum of 1 year of auditing experience with a public accounting firm.
- Proficient knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
