About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cook to join our team at 2582099 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our customers, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a smooth operation of the kitchen
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, adhering to our high standards of quality and safety
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to maintain our high standards
  • Order supplies and equipment to maintain a well-stocked kitchen
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and effective operation of the kitchen
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure accurate tracking and ordering
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Equivalent experience in a related field
