Store Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team at Cap-it Burnaby. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Evaluate and optimize store operations to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Staff Management: Manage and supervise a team of retail staff, including recruiting, training, and developing their skills.
- Merchandise Management: Plan and implement merchandise displays, manage inventory levels, and ensure that stock is accurately received and stored.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Marketing and Sales: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Manage store budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make recommendations for cost savings.
- Store Maintenance: Ensure that the store is maintained in a clean and safe condition, including managing repairs and maintenance.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with occasional standing for extended periods.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
- Collaboration: Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-Oriented: Results-driven with a focus on achieving sales and customer service goals.
