Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team at North Eastern Trucking Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of our drivers, including route planning, scheduling, and dispatching.
  • Monitor and Control the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Train and Develop our drivers to improve their skills and knowledge, enhancing our overall performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage and Maintain our fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance of our vehicles, minimizing downtime and ensuring our operations run smoothly.
  • Ensure Compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Communicate Effectively with drivers, dispatchers, and other stakeholders, providing clear instructions and feedback.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the transportation industry.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
