About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at THE YK CAREER EDUCATION SOCIETY. As a Bookkeeping Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
