About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team at LOK AWAAZ INC. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Tax Preparation: Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax returns and other tax-related documents.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word. Knowledge of QuickBooks is an asset.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time position, working 33 to 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.

The primary language of work is English.
