About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at YK Freightways Inc. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledgers and financial statements, providing timely and accurate financial information to management.
  • Journal Entries: Post journal entries and prepare trial balance of books, ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
