About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building the knowledge required to be the subject matter expert on our product lines and the markets in which our customers operate.

Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Analysis and Research
  1. Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the trailer industry.
  2. Develop a deep understanding of our competitors' value propositions, product specifications, and market share.
Customer Engagement and Insights
  1. Engage with targeted customers through one-to-one or group discussions to gain expert insights into their current issues and pain points with existing products.
  2. Develop a clear understanding of the commercial aspects of our products, including customer purchasing behavior, product value drivers, and business practices.
  3. Validate product-market fit by understanding customer priorities across multiple production systems.
Product Opportunity Definition
  1. Ensure that new products are innovative, competitively priced, and aligned with our overall business strategy.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute our Product Development Process, ensuring that customer value targets and functional requirements are met.
  3. Report progress to internal stakeholders throughout the product development process.
Product Onboarding and Training
  1. Transfer product and market knowledge to Sales and Marketing teams to inform them about our customer base and the benefits of our products.
  2. Highlight the unique value proposition of our products and showcase their benefits over competitive alternatives.
