About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Tech Quest Solutions Inc. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to employees experiencing difficulties with computer systems, networks, and software.
  • Problem-Solving: Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions to technical issues.
  • Training and Development: Provide advice and training to employees in response to identified difficulties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs efficiently.
  • Log Management: Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • System Support: Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to employees in response to identified difficulties.
  • Equipment Setup: Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Backup and Recovery: Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate and have relocation costs covered by the employer.
  • Language: Fluent in English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
