About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson to join our team at Higher Talent | Executive Search & HR Consulting |. As an Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, test, and repair operational instruments and systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Install, calibrate, and adjust control instruments and components to meet industry standards.
  • Develop and implement PLC/HMI/SCADA systems to improve process automation and control.
  • Collaborate with our team of experts to deliver high-quality, customized solutions to our clients.
  • Provide on-site start-up and commissioning services to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Support panel fabrication facilities with commissioning and programming of Variable Frequency Drives.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary diploma in technology or a related field.
  • Red Seal Certification in Instrumentation and Control Systems.
  • 4-10 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, circuit diagrams, and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and Variable Frequency Drives.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
