About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson to join our team at Higher Talent | Executive Search & HR Consulting |. As an Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our industrial control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, test, and repair operational instruments and systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Install, calibrate, and adjust control instruments and components to meet industry standards.
  • Develop and implement PLC/HMI/SCADA systems to improve process efficiency and productivity.
  • Provide on-site start-up and commissioning services to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure exceptional customer service.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary diploma in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, instrumentation technology).
  • Red Seal Certification in instrumentation and control systems (an asset).
  • 4-10 years of experience in instrumentation and control systems, with a focus on industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, circuit diagrams, and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and Variable Frequency Drives.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve common goals.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
