About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician Journeyperson to join our team at Pennecon, The Panel Shop in Fredericton, NB.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, test, and repair operational instruments and systems.
  • Install, calibrate, and adjust control instruments and components.
  • Develop PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and provide on-site start-up and commissioning services.
  • Support panel fabrication facilities with commissioning and programming and Variable Frequency Drive selection and configuration.
  • Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality, customized solutions.
Requirements
  • Post-Secondary diploma (in technology)
  • Red Seal Certification preferred
  • 4-10 years of relevant experience in instrumentation and control systems
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, circuit diagrams, and performing preventive maintenance
  • Experience with PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and Variable Frequency Drives
  • Travel will be required within the maritime provinces
  • Fieldwork will be required
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Communication skills
  • Valid Driver's License
