Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Nicola Foods Ltd.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including cooks, food and beverage servers, and kitchen and food service helpers.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are aware of their responsibilities and expectations.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and provide regular reports to management.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Hire and oversee the training and supervision of staff, and determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.
