Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Welded Tube of Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and overseeing our Health and Safety program across our Welland and Lackawanna facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Health and Safety program that meets regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a culture of safety and sustainability throughout the organization.
  • Provide training and support to employees on Health and Safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Health and Safety management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
