Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough gap analysis and develop a robust Health and Safety program for our business unit.
  • Identify and mitigate HSE risks on an ongoing basis, recommending changes and updates to safety work instructions.
  • Provide regular analytical reports to leadership on initiatives and results.
  • Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and employees to create safety work instructions and provide training on various topics.
  • Perform due diligence safety inspections and audits, providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor and report compliance with HSE regulations across all jurisdictions.
  • Participate in operational leadership meetings to integrate HSE into day-to-day business operations.
Requirements:
  • Five to seven years' experience in the HSE field.
  • Relevant post-secondary education required.
  • Designation as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional an asset.
  • Previous work experience in environmental management and industrial manufacturing an asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and INTELEX.
