Position Summary
As a Team Support Specialist at Gucci, your primary responsibility will be to provide comprehensive assistance to both front and back of house teams. This includes various sales support tasks, point of sale operations, inventory management, and administrative duties. You will embody the essence of Gucci by upholding our values and delivering a luxurious client experience.
The ideal candidate will exhibit a positive demeanor, outstanding communication abilities, and a genuine passion for the brand.
Core Responsibilities
Sales Assistance
- Act as a Gucci representative by greeting clients warmly and guiding them to available Client Advisors;
- Support the sales team in enhancing the client experience during the selling process;
- Assist Client Advisors in preparing for important client meetings, managing consignments, and completing transactions;
- Provide dressing room assistance to both Client Advisors and clients;
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism, directing and transferring as necessary;
- Identify client needs to ensure they are escorted to the appropriate department;
- Engage with clients to ensure a premium shopping experience.
Point of Sale Operations
- Assist with the packing and payment processes;
- Manage store transfer requests, charge sends, and product inquiries;
- Accurately record client information required for transaction completion and follow up on any missing details.
Inventory Management
- Support sales staff in retrieving various styles and sizes from inventory;
- Assist with scheduled inventory counts and reconciliations under the guidance of the Store Director/Team Manager – Operations.
General Duties
- Ensure all return and exchange documentation is escalated to management for necessary signatures during daily closing procedures;
- Maintain a thorough understanding of all Gucci products and company policies, particularly regarding credit, sales, and customer service.
Qualifications
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree;
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in luxury retail, hospitality, or customer service;
- Experience with point of sale systems is advantageous;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;
- Strong grasp of customer service priorities and needs;
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook;
- Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Authorization
- Candidates must possess the appropriate work authorization to be employed in the United States.
