Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at BWX Technologies, Inc. in Peterborough, Ontario. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for leading and supporting our Fuel Bundle Assembly Production team to achieve business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • **Safety and Quality:**
  • Develop and implement safety and quality procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • **Production Planning:**
  • Plan and coordinate production activities to meet business objectives and deadlines.
  • **Team Leadership:**
  • Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve business goals and objectives.
  • **Inventory Management:**
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure sufficient materials and resources are available to meet production demands.
  • **Continuous Improvement:**
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • **Communication:**
  • Communicate effectively with production staff, management, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

  • **Education:**
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Industrial Management, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • **Experience:**
  • At least 3 years of experience in a production or management role, preferably in a manufacturing or nuclear industry setting.
  • **Skills:**
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute production activities.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • **Certifications:**
  • OSHA certification or equivalent.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $78,000 to $121,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
