Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Calculating and preparing payroll cheques.
  • Assessing fixed assets and their depreciation.
  • Maintaining and balancing various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Preparing financial statements and general ledgers.
  • Generating statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Completing tax returns and preparing trial balances.
Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • Education: Completion of a College/CEGEP program.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
Technical Skills

Proficiency in the following software is required:

  • Accounting software
  • MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint
  • QuickBooks, TaxPrep, Sage Accounting Software
Work Environment

This position requires work to be performed at our office location. Remote work is not an option.

Security Clearance

A basic security clearance is necessary for this role.
