Job Summary

Canada Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeping Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the integrity of our financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts

Requirements

  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
