Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team at D&L Engineering Sales Limited. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical expertise in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commission and verify fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with CAN/ULC standards
  • Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems
  • Identify and troubleshoot technical issues with fire alarm systems
  • Complete site inspection and verification reports in a timely manner
  • Participate in 24-hour on-call emergency response service
  • Participate in the Canadian Fire Alarm Association technician program
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with safety and ISO quality standards
Requirements
  • Certified electronics technician or equivalent experience
  • Canadian Fire Alarm Association (CFAA) registration would be an asset
  • Proficient with computers and various software applications such as Windows, MS Word
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety safe work practices
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record
