Personal Care Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Innomar Strategies. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing personalized support and guidance throughout their healthcare journey.
- Collaborate with patients to gather information and educate them on available program services, including injection training, pharmacy options, and reimbursement support.
- Utilize expertise to ensure timely and efficient coordination of patient services, resulting in rapid and continuous access to therapy.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate patient onboarding and ensure seamless transitions.
- Manage all aspects of coverage to maximize and maintain prescription drug coverage, interacting regularly with insurance companies, pharmacies, and healthcare professionals as needed.
- Coordinate prescriptions (initial and renewal) and facilitate adverse event reporting.
- Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A post-secondary or Associate degree program and/or an equivalent combination of experience and education is required.
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset, particularly for roles in the province of Quebec.
- Experience in a customer service setting is essential.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience in public or private third-party reimbursement, call center settings, or pharmaceutical industry roles, such as sales, managed care, clinical support, or related experience.
- Comprehension of medical information.
- Knowledge of public, private, and federal reimbursement.
- Previous work using a CRM system.
- Project management skills.
- Exceptional customer service skills and phone etiquette.
- Detail and result-oriented.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent time management skills and sense of urgency.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with program associates.
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities at once.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and in both English and French (oral and written) for the Quebec and New Brunswick Provinces.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to adapt to change and ambiguity.
- Adherence to Performance Standards and Procedures required by the program.
