Position Overview

As a Personal Support Worker at Precious Care, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Your responsibilities will include providing essential personal assistance and support in a comfortable home environment.

Work Setting

You will be providing care in the client's home, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Assist clients with bathing and personal hygiene
  • Support clients in regular exercise routines
  • Change non-sterile dressings as needed
  • Assist with feeding and meal preparation
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Perform light housekeeping duties
  • Shop for food and household supplies
Qualifications

Applicants should possess relevant certifications such as:

  • Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) Certificate
  • CPR and First Aid Certificates
  • Health Care Aide Certificate
  • Personal Support Worker Certificate
Experience

Experience with special needs children and assistance with mobility is highly valued.

Safety and Security

Successful candidates will undergo a criminal record check and must provide references.

Transportation

Having your own vehicle is essential for this role.
