Position Overview

As an Automotive Insurance Consultant, reporting directly to the Branch Manager, your primary responsibility will be to cultivate, support, and sustain relationships with clients and local dealerships, offering a range of insurance products and coverage options.

Daily Responsibilities -

  • Establish and nurture relationships with clients, colleagues, and dealership representatives to expand your professional network.
  • Proactively provide innovative solutions utilizing a diverse array of ICBC and private insurance offerings while meeting performance objectives.
  • Handle various auto insurance transactions, including renewals, new registrations, transfers, cancellations, and payments.
  • Generate new business opportunities through cross-selling and referrals to Personal & Commercial Lines.

Qualifications -

  • Outstanding customer service abilities.
  • Proven sales experience and motivation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing high transaction volumes.
  • Availability for weekend and evening shifts.
  • Willingness to utilize personal transportation for dealership visits.
  • Commitment to obtaining Level 1 and 2 Licenses.

Compensation Details -

This position offers a variable compensation structure, combining a base salary with commission. Therefore, total earnings will fluctuate based on the successful candidate's portfolio. The anticipated salary range for this role is between $38,000.00 and $60,000.00, influenced by the candidate's skills, experience, location, and the specific business line.
