Senior Manager of Financing Solutions for Multi-Unit Properties

As a key player in the Multi-Unit Financing Solutions team, you will leverage your expertise in multi-unit real estate financing to positively influence both clients and colleagues. Your role will involve close collaboration with account managers and various partners, ensuring that you provide exceptional credit analysis and recommendations.
Your Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive credit evaluations in accordance with established standards, providing insightful recommendations.
- Develop structured credit applications that effectively mitigate risks while aligning with customer needs and the Bank's risk framework.
- Collaborate with the Multi-Residential Account Manager to assess construction or term financing requirements.
- Engage in negotiations regarding credit terms with the Credit Centre and SCHL, in partnership with the Account Manager.
- Solicit feedback from account managers on preliminary credit applications, making necessary adjustments to meet the Bank's profitability and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of documentation and maintain accurate files in conjunction with account agents and the Credit Centre.
- Serve as a credit resource within the team, fostering the development of your colleagues' skills.
- Identify and analyze risks associated with the multi-residential real estate sector, focusing on both construction loans and CMHC or conventional term loans.
Your Team:
Within the Real Estate Finance division, you will join a dynamic team of professionals and report to the Associate Vice-President of Portfolio Management. Our team is recognized for its expertise and collaborative spirit in real estate financing. Basic Qualifications:
- A degree in a relevant field combined with six years of pertinent experience, or a master's degree with four years of experience, or an undergraduate certificate with eight years of experience.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Experience with SCHL multi-unit financing for properties with six or more units, as well as construction loans.
- Strong background in financial statement analysis.
Language Requirement: Proficiency in French is essential.
