Your Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Financing Solutions Directors (FSDs) and Senior Analysts (SAs), fostering an environment that encourages collaboration and achievement of goals.
- Track the growth and skill development of team members through tailored coaching initiatives.
- Strive to enhance the efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the sector by implementing effective risk management practices.
- Provide assistance on large and complex projects within the Multi-Unit sector.
- Collaborate with partners to devise strategies that maximize market impact and elevate the visibility of your sector.
- Contribute to the formulation of the annual strategic plan for the DFS and SAs and oversee its implementation.
- Build and sustain long-term relationships with UDI account managers through various customer engagement and retention efforts.
- Act as a representative of the Bank within the community, nurturing connections with key stakeholders.
- Balance risk management with profitability in business development activities.
- Ensure adherence to compliance regulations and operational procedures.
- Stay informed about market developments and ensure that credit criteria and processes adapt to evolving needs while maintaining sound risk management.
- Proactively seek innovative approaches, promoting continuous improvement and the adoption of new tools.
Your Team:
In the Real Estate Finance sector UDI, you will lead a team comprising 9 Financing Solutions Directors and 3 Senior Analysts, reporting to the Associate Vice-President, Portfolio Management Team – Real Estate Finance Canada. Our team is distinguished by its energy and expertise in real estate financing. The work environment is hybrid, requiring you to be in the office three days a week.
Our hands-on training programs enable you to excel in your role. Customized training materials covering topics such as home loans and coaching are available to support your ongoing development. Collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds enriches your professional growth.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 7 years of experience, or a Master's degree with 5 years of experience.
- Experience in team management and/or coaching.
- Strong background in real estate financing, particularly in the Multi-Housing sector for both construction and term projects.
- Familiarity with various banking systems.
- Proven ability to influence, lead, and prioritize effectively.
- Self-motivated, organized, and adept at managing change.
