About the Role

Amazon is seeking an experienced business leader to join the Hardlines category team on Amazon Canada. As a Senior Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for managing the Profit and Loss (P&L) and setting the strategic direction for a large and diverse business within the Hardlines category.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage highly strategic vendors to drive their business towards the next phase of growth.
  • Analyze data to identify key brands to target and build long-term relationships with key vendors.
  • Resolve operational, logistical, or business issues and lead negotiations on Amazon's behalf.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive selection, sales, and margin growth while improving customer experience and education.
  • Manage multiple priorities, projects, and partner relationships simultaneously.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of account management, project, or program management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions.
  • Experience driving internal cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
  • Prior experience in retail buying, merchandising, or planning.
