Position: Technical Service Coordinator at Brandt Laval Construction & Forestry

Brandt is actively looking for a Technical Service Coordinator for our Laval Construction & Forestry division. This role is essential in supporting the Service Manager by ensuring that all reports and records related to the Service Department are accurate and timely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responds to inquiries from both internal and external customers directed to the Service Department.
  • Initiates work orders as instructed by the Service Manager or Shop Foreman, maintaining oversight until completion and invoicing.
  • Manages the service library, ensuring it is up-to-date with relevant information under the guidance of the Service Manager.
  • Organizes and maintains the filing and records of the Service Department.
  • Updates customer profiles utilizing data from work orders.
  • Oversees the inventory of accessories and supplies, preparing orders for replacements as necessary.
  • May compile efficiency reports for Service Technicians.
  • May handle warranty claims and product improvement requests.

Essential Skills:

  • Familiarity with office procedures.
  • A basic understanding of mechanical and technical terminology is advantageous.
  • Fundamental knowledge of accounting principles.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in standard desktop applications, including Microsoft Office and internet functionalities.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
