Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Lead/Supervisor to join our team at Cementation Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of electricians to ensure the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a team of electricians to ensure the safe and efficient installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Develop and implement electrical maintenance and repair procedures to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of electrical work.
  • Develop and maintain electrical documentation, including diagrams, schematics, and maintenance records.
  • Ensure all electrical work is performed in accordance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior electricians to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.
  • Identify and report any electrical system defects or hazards to management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience as a licensed Journeyperson Electrician.
  • Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate.
  • Registered in Ontario as an Electrician (considered an asset).
  • Full Basic Underground Common Core (considered an asset).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with little supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
