Meridia Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading global manufacturer of pipes and related services to find a skilled Electrical Shift Supervisor.

This opportunity offers the chance to work within a dynamic team environment that values continuous learning and growth. You'll be part of a unionized workplace operating on a 12-hour rotating shift schedule. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure smooth production processes by identifying and resolving equipment issues, maximizing uptime, and maintaining reliability across the entire production line.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment to identify potential problems and ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with Senior Supervisors on preventive maintenance tasks and in-depth failure analyses.
  • Adhere to strict health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures. Report incidents promptly, share observations, participate in inspections, and contribute to the investigation process.
  • Manage and update the maintenance information system and technical documentation with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Actively participate in initiatives aimed at reducing energy consumption within the maintenance operations.
  • Analyze complex technical issues, interpret data, and recommend effective solutions.
  • Lead and motivate your team members during assigned shifts. Coordinate schedules, delegate responsibilities, and ensure a safe working environment for all.
  • Communicate effectively with your team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar manufacturing environment, preferably within the pipe industry.
  • Strong background in mechatronics and/or electrical engineering principles.
  • Proven experience as a supervisor or team lead, demonstrating leadership and management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a proven ability to solve complex problems effectively.
