Meridia Recruitment Solutions is supporting a leading global pipe manufacturer and services business in their search for an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor.

As an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor, you will work with a diverse team in a dynamic environment with opportunities for career-related learning and growth on a day shift (8 am - 5 pm). You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and availability of equipment and production processes, performing general inspections, and supporting preventive maintenance tasks and failure analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mitigate opportunities for failures across production processes by ensuring issues are diagnosed and corrected to ensure equipment and overall line availability and reliability are maximized.
  • Perform general inspections on equipment to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
  • Support Sr. Supervisors with preventive maintenance tasks and failure analyses to ensure equipment is running efficiently and effectively.
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) procedures, report incidents, and share observations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage and update the maintenance information system and technical documentation to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Participate in maintenance initiatives to reduce energy consumption and improve overall efficiency.
  • Analyze, interpret, and recommend courses of action for more complex topics to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Lead team members during their assigned shifts, coordinate schedules, assign responsibilities, and ensure safe working conditions.
  • Motivate, coach, and effectively communicate with your team and business stakeholders to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Educational background in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of progressive experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience maintaining heavy industrial manufacturing equipment, including AC and DC Motor drives, VFD systems, hydraulic systems, and sensor and transducer devices.
  • Experience with electrical/electronic equipment inspection techniques and predictive maintenance.
  • Ability to perform failure analysis and provide solution-based ideas to improve equipment performance.
  • Ability to work flexible hours as per the requirement of the mill.
  • Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Intermediate experience with MS Office applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset and high ability to problem solve.
