Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at 4498394 Nova Scotia Limited. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to their inquiries, and provide assistance with purchases.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, and maintain accurate inventory levels.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic math skills.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 35-hour workweek. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, stand for extended periods, and lift heavy loads.
