Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Equipment Technician to join our team at SAI Cell Repair Inc. as a key member of our technical staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Diagnostics and Repair: Diagnose and locate faults in telecommunications equipment, and perform adjustments, replacements, or repairs as needed.
  • Installation and Maintenance: Install, arrange, remove, and maintain telephone equipment, wiring, and associated hardware to ensure optimal performance.
  • Test and Service Reports: Complete and maintain accurate test and service reports to document equipment performance and maintenance activities.
  • Troubleshooting and Analysis: Determine the nature, cause, and location of equipment troubles to identify effective solutions.
  • Training and Development: Instruct apprentices on equipment operation, maintenance, and repair procedures.
  • Technical Operations: Operate computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment, and connect, disconnect, and relocate cable outlets as required.
  • Hardware Repair and Replacement: Repair or replace faulty cables, power suppliers, and amplifiers to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced technical environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
