Job Summary

This is a full-time 12-hour shift position, working 7p-7a (Sunday-Tuesday). The successful candidate will be responsible for performing service and preventative maintenance on all mobile equipment within the D.C.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs using computerized maintenance management systems
  • Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation, setup, and repair
  • Inspect and examine mobile equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
  • Assist in other maintenance department repairs as required
  • Work at heights up to 45 feet and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
  • Certificate of Qualification: Ontario Powered Lift Truck Technician (Ontario #282E) or Automotive Service Technician (Ontario #310S) and relevant experience or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (Ontario #421A) and relevant experience or Technical trade or other designation/qualifications and relevant experience
  • Able to work at heights up to 45 feet
  • Able to stand for long periods with occasional laying, stooping, and crouching
  • Frequent heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
Assets
  • Background or experience in electrical systems or electronics
  • Demonstrated experience in vehicle repair and troubleshooting
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems
