Job Title: Mobile Equipment Technician

This is a full-time 12-hour shift position, working from 7pm to 7am, Sunday to Tuesday. The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of $45.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 night shift wage premium, a signing bonus, a profit-sharing program, and a comprehensive total rewards package.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using computerized systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex equipment issues using technical documentation and manufacturer specifications.
  • Repair and maintain electric motors, combustion engines, and electrical systems.
  • Inspect and examine mobile equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective repairs.
  • Work at heights up to 45 feet and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner and perform repairs with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
  • Certificate of Qualification in Powered Lift Truck Technician, Automotive Service Technician, or Heavy Duty Equipment Technician, and relevant experience.
  • Able to work at heights up to 45 feet and stand for long periods with occasional lifting and bending.
  • Frequent heavy lifting up to 50 pounds.
Assets:
  • Background or experience in electrical systems or electronics.
  • Demonstrated experience in vehicle repair and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
